Inaugural Concert - Igreja das Chagas

You are warmly invited to the Inaugural Concert of our 26/27 Season at Igreja das Chagas.

Join us for a beautiful evening of music by Bach, Handel, Schubert, Brahms, and Piazzolla at 17h on the 31st. On this occasion, we will inaugurate our Steinway piano, generously loaned to Horizonte Musical do Tejo by pianist Jean Louis Steuerman and family. This magnificent instrument will accompany us throughout our 15-concert series, named "Encontros", beginning next September at Igreja das Chagas — and the full season programme will be unveiled on the evening. This free concert series is made possible through the generous support of the Anna-Maria Moggio Foundation.

The varied programme will feature young flutist Laura Guedes alongside pianists Leonardo Hilsdorf and Jolanta Klarka, and violinist Zachary Spontak. Soprano Luiza Vaz Pinto will be joined by the multi-talented singer Yara Gutkin and by cellists Yuki Konii and Andrew Readman. Free admission — donations…
